Dear Tribal Dancers & Friends, In the year 2008 we started out as a tiny festival in the backyard of the “Haus der Jugend” in Hanover in a romantic little circus tent. Back then it was just a parts of a few dozens of friends, sharing their love for Tribal Style Bellydance. What a difference two years made! Last year we expanded into the top floor of “House of Tribal” (Haus der Jugend/ Music School Hanover) and this year we rented the entire building! This means significantly more room for a bazar, more guests, more program, more possibilities. That's why there will be two dazzling Tribal Show Nights. At least 22!!! workshops covering the hottest topics featuring international instructors starting on Thursday, May 27. We are also introducing a new festival feature: the Tribal Varieté and Open Stage charmingly hosted and directed by Elena Sapega, known to many as a founding member of Hanover's first tribe perlatentia. We are planning and organizing this major event alongside finalizing the organization of this year's World of Orient, which is a challenge we are gladly taking. And if you've met us you know you can look forward to one of this year's biggest Tribal events! Your patience will pay off completely in May 2010.
